Welcome to Lajes American School – home of the Falcons! The Lajes Elementary School and the Lajes High School have joined forces to become the Lajes American School serving students from Sure Start to grade 12. There will be great “synergy” as we build upon the greatness of these two schools. We will move forward to better serve the students of the Lajes community. This will be a special year as we celebrate the opening of our new school.

The Lajes American School is made up of superior students, teachers, and parents who work together in this great Lajes community. Our students work hard and achieve at very high levels. Our teachers are dedicated and teach to key standards while building relationships with students and colleagues. Our parents value education and do all that they can to support the school and their children. Remember that education begins at home and flourishes only when the efforts of the school, family, and community are combined. We need your help in and out of school! Communication between parents and teachers is critical in making this a working educational team. So, please talk to your children’s teachers and express any concerns or compliments you may have directly to them. As a team, we will continue to provide the very best of educational programs for all students.
